Lotus Root Pork Balls
Overview
The meatballs with lotus root have a better texture and taste. Personally, I feel that a combination of meat and vegetables, or a combination of plant protein and animal protein, is more suitable for me. Steaming is healthier than frying. A useful try and a delicious treat.

Add oil, salt, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, cooking wine, pepper, and minced ginger to the meat filling.

Stir vigorously in one direction, add chopped green onion and stir evenly.

Wash the lotus root.

Chop lotus root.

Add the minced lotus root into the mixed meat filling and stir evenly.

Take appropriate amount of filling and form into balls.

Steam the meatballs in a steamer until cooked.

Add water or stock to the wok, add sugar, light soy sauce, and salt and bring to a boil.

Pour in water and starch and boil to form a sauce.

Pour the sauce over the steamed meatballs.
