Soak white fungus in water until soft, wash and tear into small pieces.

Soak the lotus seeds in water until soft and wash.

Boil water in a pot and add white fungus.

Add the lotus seeds as well.

Bring to a boil, cover with lid, reduce heat and simmer for about half an hour. It’s okay if the lotus seeds are ripe and the white fungus is cooked through.

Finally, add rock sugar according to taste. I put five small packets of this amount.
