The ingredients are as shown in the picture, and I forgot to take pictures of dried chili peppers and garlic

Cut the pork belly into large pieces, add a little oil in the pan, add the pork belly and fry until both sides of the meat are browned and remove from the pan

Add the sugar and stir-fry over low heat until the sugar dissolves

Add the pork belly and stir-fry for a few times. Add ginger, onions, garlic, mushrooms, Sichuan peppercorns, dried chili peppers, tangerine peel, star anise, and cinnamon for a few times. Add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oil, and cooking wine

Add hot water to just cover the pork belly and cook for 1 minute

Transfer to the casserole, cover the pot and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes

Uncover and place on a plate, sprinkle with chopped green onion and coriander and serve
