Wash the oats once or twice and add 2 tablespoons of sugar. The amount of oats does not need to be too much, otherwise it will not form a ball when kneading the dough.

Add about a cup of 40-degree warm water, then add an appropriate amount of yeast powder and soak for a while. The water in which the yeast powder is soaked should be over 30 degrees Celsius.

Add flour and stir until fluffy.

Knead the dough with your hands and let it ferment for 1-2 hours. During the kneading process, the dough can be divided into small balls for easy kneading; if it is too sticky, you can add an appropriate amount of flour.

Ferment until 1-2 times in size.

Knead the dough to deflate and form into bun shape. You can add a little flour to make kneading the dough easier.

Let it rise in the steamer for about 15 minutes. Heat until the water boils, steam for 20 minutes, and simmer for 2 minutes.
