Bean paste buns
Overview
Red bean paste buns are soft and sweet. Steam some when you have time. If you can’t finish them all at once, you can freeze them in the refrigerator.

Add yeast to water and stir until melted.

Yeast, caster sugar, water, mix. Add flour and stir until fluffy.

Knead the dough and ferment.

The dough will rise until it doubles in size. Deflate the dough and divide it into portions.

Make bean paste buns.

Close the mouth tightly.

Put it into the steamer with the seam side down and let it rest for 15 minutes.

After the water boils, steam over medium heat for 15 minutes, simmer for 5 minutes before uncovering.
