Ingredients for making bun wrappers: flour, yeast powder.

After mixing the yeast powder and water, pour it into the flour and knead it into a slightly soft dough. Cover it with plastic wrap and let it rise for 30 minutes.

Ingredients for steamed bun filling: pumpkin, vermicelli, shrimp skin, green onions.

Cut the pumpkin into shreds, cook and chop the vermicelli, chop the shrimp skin, and chop the green onions.

Add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, ginger powder, bun seasoning powder, and cooking oil to the pumpkin shreds and stir evenly.

Add chopped green onions, dried shrimps, and chopped vermicelli, add salt and sesame oil, mix well and set aside.

Knead and deflate the dough.

Roll into long strips and cut into small evenly sized doughs.

Roll out the dough into a round dough piece that is thick in the middle and thin around the edges.

Add appropriate amount of pumpkin vermicelli filling.

Use the pleat method to wrap it into a bun, and wrap the remaining small dough ingredients.

Cover the wrapped buns with a damp cloth and let them rise for about 15 minutes. After boiling water in the pot, put them into the pot and steam them over high heat for 16 minutes. Take them out when they are mature.
