Cut the beef into chunks. Soak the bleeding area in clean water and rinse with water.

Put oil in the pan and add butter. Dry the butter.

Add onion, ginger, garlic and star anise and stir-fry until fragrant.

Add Pixian bean paste.

Add chopped beef. Turn up the heat and stir-fry.

Add some soy sauce and cook the beef over medium heat.

Add the bone broth that covers the beef. Add light soy sauce and dark soy sauce. Boil water, turn to low heat and simmer for two hours.

Reduce the juice over high heat and add the cooked potato cubes and onions. Sprinkle with coriander and white sesame seeds.
