Dissolve the dry yeast with water and add it to the flour, add 1 teaspoon of sugar, stir evenly to form a dough of moderate hardness, cover with a damp cloth and ferment.

Heat the salad oil, add chopped green onion and stir-fry into green onion oil.

Prepare ham slices.

Cut the ham into pieces.

The dough will rise until it doubles in size and will not shrink or sink when you poke a hole in the middle.

Take out the dough, sprinkle with dry flour to prevent sticking, and knead thoroughly to remove the air.

Roll out the dough into a rectangular piece about 3-5 mm.

Sprinkle an appropriate amount of salt on the surface of the dough, spread scallion oil evenly, and sprinkle with chopped ham.

Roll the dough sheet from bottom to top into a tubular roll, and pinch to seal.

Use a sharp knife to cut the roll into equal portions into small rolls.

Take a dough roll and press it down in the middle with chopsticks.
