Steps
-
Wash the horned melon and cut into 1.5 cm thick slices. Set aside.
-
Use a fruit knife to remove the flesh in the middle, be careful not to hurt your hands!
-
Add fresh soy sauce, sugar, salt, monosodium glutamate, oil, and minced ginger to the meat filling and mix well.
-
Put the flavorful meat filling into the melon ring and spread the meat filling evenly.
-
Since there are guests at home, we don’t take pictures of the steaming process. Add an appropriate amount of water to the steamer, bring it to a boil, add the prepared melon and meatballs, and steam over high heat for eight minutes.
-
The steamed melon meatballs are topped with coriander leaves and wolfberry that look like blooming flowers. It’s so beautiful!
-
The melon meatballs can be eaten steamed or fried, and the taste will be different, but I still recommend that you steam them to make them more nutritious!
