Overview
Rolled nuts are an authentic halal snack in Beijing and one of the tea snacks in Beijing. Every time during the New Year and festivals, Hui friends will serve fried rolls as a top-quality food to their guests. There are two types of roll fruits: sweet and salty. Today I’m mainly talking about candies.

Prepare materials.

Soak the oil bean skins in cold water for 15 minutes.

Clean and core the red dates.

Chop the preserved fruits, walnut kernels, and peanut kernels separately and set aside.

Peel and clean the yam.

Crush the yam with a knife.

Stir the sugar, yam, dates and preserved fruits evenly.

Add water and flour and mix well.

Spread the soaked soybean skins.

Place the mixed yam filling on one end of the fried bean skin. Use oily bean skin to roll up the yam filling.

Add water to a steamer and bring to a boil, then steam for 30 minutes.

Steam and take it out, wrap it in a clean drawer cloth while it's still hot and arrange it into a triangle.

Let cool and then cut into thick slices. Add oil to the pan. Heat the oil and add the rolled fruit into thick slices. Fry until golden brown and take out.

Put the pan on the fire and add brown sugar, white sugar and osmanthus.

Boil the sugar over low heat until it becomes a thick syrup.

Pour in the fried rolls, coat with sugar sauce, sprinkle with cooked sesame seeds and serve on a plate.
