The taro is extremely fragrant and glutinous after being steamed. It is so salty and delicious when paired with the chopped chili sauce. I can't help but eat a few more pieces and save a lot of rice...

Prepare ingredients, cut taro into small cubes

Heat a small pot, heat peanut oil, sauté chili pepper, ginger and garlic until fragrant, add all the seasonings and bring to a boil over low heat

Place the taro on a plate and steam until cooked, about 10 minutes

Sprinkle chopped green onions on the taro

Pour the previously prepared chopped chili sauce on top of the taro and serve
