Steps
-
Prepare the ingredients, including tofu, chopped peppers, onions, garlic, etc.
-
Chop garlic and chives into small pieces and set aside.
-
Put the minced garlic, minced green onion, sugar, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, chopped pepper, pepper powder, chicken powder and other ingredients into a bowl, add a little water, stir the sauce evenly and set aside.
-
Prepare the sauce and then process the tofu. Cut the northern tofu into large pieces of half a centimeter.
-
The cut tofu is coated with a layer of dry starch.
-
Beat the eggs in a bowl, and coat the tofu dipped in starch with a layer of egg liquid. (The cut tofu is first dipped in starch and then wrapped in egg liquid. The tofu processed in this way will not break easily and will be more golden and crispy when fried)
-
Put the tofu coated in egg liquid into the frying pan and fry over medium-low heat.
-
Fry until both sides are golden brown. Fry the tofu coated in egg liquid until golden brown, and pour directly into the bowl of sauce prepared in (step 3).
-
After boiling, reduce to medium-low heat and simmer for a few minutes to allow the juice to fully penetrate into the tofu.
-
Simmer until the soup is reduced and the tofu is slightly soft, then reduce the heat to medium to reduce the juice and the soup is basically gone.
