China on the Tip of the Tongue 2-Encounter-Recipe for Braised Pork Trotters with Golden Needles
Overview
The fifth episode of A Bite of China 2, "Encounter", introduces a Taiwanese delicacy, stewed pig trotters with golden needles. According to the plot, fresh golden needles are used. I searched several places and couldn't find them, so I had to use dried ones instead. The finished product tastes equally delicious. Because some Taiwanese people are Hakka, I added Hakka rice wine to this dish, which not only removes the flavor and enhances the taste, but also makes it more fragrant and delicious. Daylily, also known as forget-me-not, is also called daylily. It is rich in nutrients and contains protein, vitamin C, calcium, fat, carotene, amino acids and other nutrients necessary for the human body. Experts point out that daylily is sweet and cool in nature and has the effects of hemostasis, anti-inflammatory, clearing away heat, diuresis, digestion, improving eyesight and calming the nerves. Regular consumption of daylily has a significant effect on improving vomiting of blood, lactation, and frequent insomnia. Learn more about day lily search: Guan Xiaowei day lily
