Home-cooked tofu
Overview
Home-style roasted tofu is the most classic way to make tofu. It is fried with a little oil and then cooked in soy sauce. The sauce has a rich flavor and is paired with a variety of brightly colored vegetables. It is both delicious and eye-catching.

Ingredients prepared: red and yellow bell peppers cut into small dices, black fungus soaked and picked into small florets, carrots cut into thin slices, and tofu cut into cubes;

Grease the pan with a little oil;

Add tofu and fry until golden brown on both sides; set aside tofu;

In a small bowl, put two tablespoons of soy sauce; one tablespoon of oyster sauce; one teaspoon of sugar; stir evenly to form a sauce;

In a separate wok, add an appropriate amount of oil, add chopped green onions and stir-fry until fragrant;

First add carrot slices and green beans and stir-fry;

Then add black fungus and stir-fry;

Add the fried tofu and stir-fry evenly;

Pour in the prepared sauce;

Put in a bowl of water;

Simmer for a while to let the tofu absorb the flavor;

Finally add the red and yellow bell peppers and stir-fry evenly;

In the final seasoning, you can decide whether to add salt according to your own taste. Personally, I feel that the saltiness of soy sauce is enough, so I don’t add salt.
