Ingredients
Steps
-
Mix yeast and 160 grams of water.
-
Take out 80 grams of flour, add 50 grams of cooked purple sweet potato and crush it.
-
Add a little yeast water and mix into purple sweet potato dough. (For making piggy facial features)
-
Add 100 grams of cooked pumpkin to the remaining flour, and knead it with yeast water to form a pumpkin dough.
-
Cover the two-color dough tightly and let it rise for 30 minutes. (30 minutes is enough, the key is that the second serve must be in place)
-
While the dough is rising, wash the shiitake mushrooms and dried shrimps and chop the shiitake mushrooms into small pieces.
-
Pour the shiitake mushrooms and dried shrimps into the pan to add flavor.
-
Then add mushroom and shrimp skin to 400 grams of meat filling, add your favorite seasonings in sequence, add appropriate amount of salt, sesame oil, pepper, soy sauce and sugar according to your own taste and mix evenly to form filling.
-
Take out the proofed dough and divide it into 15 pieces.
-
Take a piece of dough, roll it out, and fill it with meat filling.
-
Pinch and roll into a ball, with the seam facing downwards.
-
Take out the purple sweet potato dough and roll it into a sheet, then use a piping tip or a wine bottle cap to press out a round sheet.
-
Use chopsticks to make two small holes out of the disc to make the pig's mouth and nose.
-
Apply some water to the middle and lower ends of the dough. As shown in the figure
-
Then take a small round slice and cut it in half.
-
Place the left and right ends on the dough to make piggy ears.
-
Finally, take two red beans and place them on the left and right ends to make the piggy’s eyes.
-
Place all the shaped pork buns into a greased steamer. Cover tightly and ferment for the second time until doubled in size.
-
Pour an appropriate amount of water into the pot and bring to a boil, add the second-raised embryos, cover tightly, and steam over high heat for 20 minutes, then turn off the heat. Simmer for 5 minutes before opening the lid. To prevent the buns from collapsing.

Finished product. Look! How cute they are in pairs.
