Chicken and corn and carrot soup
Overview
My younger brothers and sisters have gone to school, and I don’t want to waste too much soup, so I cooked soup for 4 people. The soup is clear, sweet and fragrant. My family members all said they liked it after drinking it, haha. A nutritious soup that is indeed delicious.

Steps
-
Material pictures: corn, water chestnuts, carrots, red dates, wolfberry.
-
Wash the chicken and chop into pieces.
-
Drain the chicken, then wash and dry in cold water.
-
Chop corn into cubes and carrots into cubes, set aside.
-
Wash the water chestnuts, peel them, remove the stems and cut them in half. Wash the wolfberries. Wash the red dates and set aside.
-
Add boiling hot water to the soup pot, add chicken pieces, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
-
Add red dates during this period.
-
After 30 minutes, add corn and simmer for 15 minutes.
-
Add the water chestnuts and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
-
Finally add the wolfberry, cook for 5 minutes, then turn off the heat and simmer for 15 minutes. (I didn’t add salt, because the soup itself is already very sweet, and it is already very delicious to drink like this. Of course, those who like a stronger taste can add some salt. As for other things, do not add more to avoid destroying the taste of the soup)

The soup is cooked and ready to be served.
