Pumpkin cornmeal steamed bun assorted cup
Overview
This is a dish made from coarse grains and carefully prepared, with both rice and vegetables. After the pumpkin is steamed, mix it with cornmeal and steam it directly into steamed buns, or you can change it into a small bowl and stir-fry diced assorted vegetables, which is interesting and delicious. It’s also good to change up the flavors once in a while! The traditional corn flour steamed buns are hard and rough, but the steamed buns made with pumpkin are not only soft in texture, but also have the sweetness of pumpkin. Even people who don’t like to eat whole grains can fall in love with it. There are no special requirements for diced assorted vegetables. You can use whatever ingredients you want, whether they are meat or vegetarian, spicy or sweet, and you can taste whatever you like!

Steps
-
Take a piece of pumpkin, cut it into pieces, steam it in a pot, let it cool before use, do not pour away the water used to steam the pumpkin
-
Cornmeal is ready
-
Take an appropriate amount of cornmeal and mix it with the cooked pumpkin to form a slightly soft corn pumpkin dough, not too dry. The ratio of cornmeal to pumpkin is basically 1:1, but it still depends on the water content in the pumpkin. If there is too much water, add more cornmeal or pour out some of the pumpkin water
-
Take a small glass bowl with a mouth diameter of 5 cm as the mold for the middle of the steamed buns
-
Take an appropriate amount of corn pumpkin dough and form it into a ball. Place the small bowl in the middle without taking it out. Place it in the steamer because after taking it out, the steamed buns will collapse during the heating process
-
Wrap all the steamed buns and put them into the pot. After the water boils, steam them for about 20 minutes. After turning off the heat, don't rush to uncover them. You can use this time to fry the diced assorted vegetables. Uncover them after the diced vegetables are fried to prevent the steamed buns from getting cold and affecting the taste.
